Location right in the heart of Avignon. Staff very helpful.
Dark and gloomy hotel with very basic accommodation and services. Rooms are very tired although resonably clean.

The hotel is on the main street of Avignon center, very convenient for going to anywhere. The room is big and clean, and beautifully deocrated. It even has hair dryer in the bath room. What impressed me more was the staff in reception. She was so nice to give us a lot of useful information on our arrival and helped to call the hotel of our next stop for the details of how to get there.
The hotel has no elevator, but the staffs are so kind to help to carry the luggages for you.

The location was fantastic, being centrally positioned near major attractions and the charming historical sites of Avignon.
The advertised parking was misleading. It was actually quite far from the hotel, requiring a 10-minute walk to access.

The breakfast was more than adequate and savoury and the parking was onsite.
As for me, the area was not welcoming.

The charming Victorian style has a certain appeal, giving the place a cozy vibe. The proximity to key attractions, such as the railway station and historical sites, makes it convenient for travelers.
The room size is cramped, particularly with views straight into a neighboring building. The bathroom lacks hooks for hanging clothes, and there's a noticeable absence of private parking, which complicates luggage management. Issues with noise from the street and plumbing can disrupt the peace, especially with garbage trucks operating early in the morning. The carpets show signs of wear, and the mattress could use an upgrade to ensure a better night's sleep.

The location is very central and the room was relatively spacious. The breakfast was good.
There was no parking available close to the hotel. The bed linen was stained and the room smelt like people had been smoking inside. There was also no lift in the hotel which made being at the very top with heavy bags difficult. I thought that the room was overpriced compared to other hotels of a similar quality in France.

Good central location in Avignon, other than this everything could be described as "average".

Staff were helpful and pleasant. The location was good.
The decor was truly hideous; chosen by someone colour-blind, surely. Made the entrance and hall seem dirty and dingy when it wasn't; and the pale green rooms looked as though they were mouldy - but were actually clean and comfortable on everything but the eyes.

The location in the centre of Avignon was perfect. Along the main street, 5 minutes from the main sights and around the corner from pedestrian streets with restaurants. 10 minutes from the main railway station and the bus from TGV station. Hotel was in a nice building, rooms recently painted and decorated. Very clean and surprisingly big rooms. Staff spoke mostly good English and were very helpful. Breakfast was good with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, fruit, muesli and eggs. Our overall impression was very good. Recommend the hotel warmly.
We did not have much luggage, but I guess some would mind the lack of an elevator. Only disappointment concerning the breakfast was the fact that coffee came from a machine. But these were very minor details.

Nothing much except its location is good and near the city centre and train station.
Very old, do not have the appearance of a clean nice hotel. The entrance of the hotel need to be upgraded. Carpet of room old and need of a change of carpet. Bed is small for two persons and the mattress springs seem like they are going to give way anytime. Lighting along the stairs very poor and you need to 'switch them on' yourself if you require lighting. Poorly lit along the stairway. No elevator. Would not recommend to 'older' or mature people who need to climb stairs.
